Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes grew up in Gliwice, Poland, and moved to the United States in 1996. A well-rounded athlete, she pursued a variety of sports. She gained her initial experience with combat sports through wrestling and kickboxing.
Aleksandra graduated from college with B.S degree in Management Science in 2002. After working full time for several years she pursued a law degree and graduated cum laude from New England School of Law in 2012. By day she practices law and is employed full time by a civil litigation firm in Brockton, MA. She specializes in Workers' Compensation law.
Aleksandra trains with her husband, Wayne Lopes. In addition to their own training they also volunteer weekly to teach boxing at a local Police Boys Club.
